I feel like this Airbnb doesn’t even need a review……I mean it’s Caroline Forbes house!!!!! In all seriousness, it was a dream to stay here. They did use the foyer of this house in the show, but the other rooms were at the production studio. (The only house they filmed inside the actual house is the Lockwood Mansion.) That is one of the many really cool things about staying at Caroline’s is you can recreate scenes from the show and act out your Caroline Forbes dreams! There are even picture print outs of different scenes to help you recreate the exact angle and everything!
Even if it wasn’t Caroline’s house, the house itself is beautiful! It is 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath. Both full bathrooms have a double sink and the toilet is in it’s own room, so that makes this the perfect house for a girls trip or couples trip. One of the bedrooms has two twin beds, so it is also good for a family. The showers are amazing with multiple shower heads, and in the master bathroom there is also a beautiful tub. I actually used it the first night we stayed there because my feet were so sore from all the walking around, haha. The house has a washer and dryer available to use if you need it. There is also plenty of parking. I would say you can fit 3, possibly 4 vehicles if you needed to. We all rode together so we just had one car.
Another one of my favorite things about staying here is the fact that it is walking distance from the square. Floyd Street is one of my favorite streets in Covington because of all the trees and beautiful houses, so to walk down that street feeling like a local is amazing in my opinion. I also love getting to sit on the swing on the front porch. Let’s be honest, I just love everything about staying here, lol.
How could this house get any better you might ask? Well…….Kaitlyn the owner of the house went to the estate sale where they had props from a bunch of different shows, including from TVDU, and she found some canisters from Elena’s kitchen, an ottoman that was in Caroline’s house, and my personally favorite and the best addition………….DAMON’S DRESSER!! I am mad at myself for not finding it first, haha, but I am truly glad it’s here where more people can enjoy it. I will actually be staying here again soon, so I will be able to see it in person! Be sure to follow Mystic Falls Inn on IG because if there are last minute openings or cancelations she always post about it, and if you ever see an opening, BOOK IT! It is 1000% worth it and such an amazing experience. If you want to stay there for a certain day or event, I would go ahead and book it because next year is already filling up.
